The primary goal of this conference is to foster interactions and collaborations among researchers working across diverse areas of QIS. Unlike many conferences that focus on one specific subfield of QIS, this event aims to bring to the same room researchers from a wide spectrum of QIS topics, and including theory and experimental work.

Research Day 2026 will be hosted for students at the University of Toronto. The conference aims to foster a collaborative community within U of T by providing students with a space to learn from fellow students and to engage with the diverse research within the field of quantum information and quantum control.
