Recently, Aephraim Steinberg, a University of Toronto (U of T) quantum physicist and a founding member of the Centre for Quantum Information and Quantum Control (CQIQC), was featured in an article in the Financial Post ('What is quantum computing and can Canada remain a hotbed for the futuristic technology?').
The article touched on several themes including the potential and challenges of using quantum computing for complex applications; recent innovations in the field; Canada's high concentration of quantum companies, with more than 60 founded in the country; and how Canada can continue to support the commercialization of quantum technologies.
