CQIQC at UofT and the Hellen Diller Quantum Center at Technion in Israel held virtual workshops on January 15 and 16 of 2024, with 40 participants attending twenty talks over the course of two days.
Topics included "Many-body physics and quantum technologies with ultracold fermions," from Yoav Sagi of Technion and Paul Brumer's "Quantum Dynamics from Ultracold Collisions to Warm Biophysics." A full list of the discussions and presenters is here.
CQIQC Dvira Segal affirmed that the successful meeting creates a solid base for further collaborations between the two institutes in the future.
